Where have I
been?
Back in 2006 my Internet Service Provider was bought by
VirginMedia. During the change-over they reset my password and forgot
to tell me they had reset it. Apparently, I had 28 days to change my
password but they didn't tell me that either! So, when I got round to
changing it I wasn't allowed to and their "Help" Desk told me that the time
limit had expired and there was no way they could do anything about it. I
asked them to delete the site and they said that was impossible as only the User
was allowed to do that by using the password. A wonderfully Kafka-esque
catch 22!
A couple of years later I started to have some
sporadic but fairly major health problems, including a heart rythym issue and a
minor stroke, all now resolved and I pretty much stopped playing for a
couple of years. Or at least I didn't play to any extent worth reporting.
I sort of lost interest in website publishing until in 2013 a very good mate and
Top, 1sw1tch persuaded me to re-awaken this site from its slumber, so I needed
to find a suitable host.
Then a very good friend CPMan offered to host my
website and this went live around Easter 2014. So why have I not done any
updates since then? Well, I've not been playing! For a reason.
Shortly after Xmas I went to play with a new Top who used a split cane on
me! I could hear that the cane was split but he assured me it was OK and
carried on. When I got home there was quite a lot of blood in my jeans and
a patch of very raw skin on my butt. Somehow this got infected and had
refused to heal up until I got some expert medical help recently. The area
has become a "Weak Spot" and the skin breaks very easily so play is kinda at the
back of my mind at the moment. I am writing this while staying with CPMan
in the USA. I took a pretty heavy beating five days ago and had minor bleeding
and this seems to have healed OK so we aim to play again before I fly home on
Wednesday 11th April. After that, I plan to take a complete rest now until,
probably, at least August 2014 so as to allow it to really heal
fully.
So that explains the hiatus in keeping my site up to
date.
